Our History

Your Trusted Partner in Procurement Excellence Since 1994.

Limson Trading was originally established in 1994 as International Procurement & Marketing (IPM), and became incorporated as Limson in 1998. Our experience in procurement, quality control, logistics, warehousing, sales and marketing, coupled with outstanding customer service, has helped us develop a strong reputation in the industry with our suppliers and clients that continues today. Our expertise spans across many categories including seafood, meat, poultry, grocery, edible oils, fruits, vegetables, tabletop and disposable products.

Global Ethical Sourcing

North American Trading and Logistics (NATL) was established in 2001 to create and manage a portfolio of forward buys for domestic and international commodities (similar to a mutual fund). Building on this commodity exposure, NATL began sourcing and trading proteins, oils, flour, rice, sugar from a large variety of suppliers across the United States, Canada and Mexico. A combination of multi-sourcing, component buying, risk management and volume leverage put us in a low-cost position across the commodities we manage. In 2020 NATL was merged with Limson Trading by commodity category. This allows each Business Manager to adapt procurement to the best-cost alternatives worldwide at any given time.

With a logistical network that includes offices in Connecticut & Michigan, 50 warehouse operations, and 25 entry ports in North America, you can be sure that we can efficiently meet your product sourcing needs.
